Located in Grand Junction, the History Museum and Tower features a 1921 LaFrance fire truck, Southwest pottery, a full-size WAAIME uranium mine, a firearms collection, a 15th century Spanish cannon, and a display of the life of Alferd Packer. The Sterling T. Smith Education Tower offers a 360° view of the surrounding geography. Tower top displays include a working weather station, and provide information on downtown historic preservation efforts, regional archaeology and geology.
Metro North East Homeschoolers is a homeschooling support group with most members living in the northeast parts of metro Denver including Thornton, Northglenn, Arvada, Broomfield, and more. The primary focus of this group is as a social outlet for parents and children, with weekly get-togethers, field trips, and a monthly Moms’ Night Out.
Great Divide Brewing Company is located in two Denver locations: 2201 Arapahoe St. and 1812 25th St. They offer free tours of the breweries daily. Average tour time is 20 minutes. The tours are open to the public and free, but limited to the first 20 guests. Participants must be over the age of 12. The tour includes samples of their award-winning beers.

FRIEND (Front Range Independent Educators North of Denver) is an inclusive, non-directed, homeschool, support group located in Colorado with most members living in parts of metro Denver including, Arvada, Brighton, Broomfield, Commerce City, Denver, Henderson, Hudson, Northglenn, Thornton, and Westminster. We also have some members that drive from as far away as Aurora, Bennett and Boulder. The primary focus of this group is as a social outlet for parents and children. Weekly events, get-togethers, field trips, and a monthly Moms’ Night Out are member planned.
